Hello. My name is Steve and I own Ocean Sound Kayaking Company. OSK promotes healthy, fun, and memorable sea kayak tours exclusively on the Queen Charlotte Islands - Haida Gwaii. I pride my company as being one of the few in Gwaii Haanas National Park / Reserve that guides its own tours and provides a unique service from start to finish.

Sandspit, on the Queen Charlotte Islands, is my home for the summer months. I have made this "Place of Wonder" my playground of choice since 1994. As a result, I have developed friendships with the residents and I am able to expose my guests to local knowledge and customs. Visitors traveling with OSK experience the lifestyles unique to the area.

My philosophy over years of exploring the natural beauty of the islands has been to "Escape the Ordinary". This has led me to design unique wilderness kayak tours that provide guests the path less traveled.

I understand that the Journey is as important as the Destination, and it is the small details that add the spice to the experience. I believe that your holiday must be safe and comfortable, and have satisfying and delicious meals while kayaking Gwaii Haanas National Park/ Reserve.

It is my deep appreciation for the Natural Wonders and Cultural Treasures of the Queen Charlotte Islands that I wish to share with you. My greatest reward is facilitating experiences that meet with my guest expectations.
